Automated SEO Blog Posts for Docusaurus
Docusaurus ships a blog plugin that renders Markdown from a blog folder. Blogger Dog writes posts into that folder, so they show up in your blog list, tag pages and RSS feed without touching your config.
What Blogger Dog writes
A .md or .mdx file with front matter (title, date, description, tags, slug) that the blog plugin reads natively.

## Why builds got slow
...How publishing works
- 01
Connect the repo
Sign in with GitHub or GitLab (OAuth) and choose the repository and branch your docs site deploys from.
- 02
Posts land in the blog folder
Onboarding detects Docusaurus and uses the blog plugin's folder. Its own list and post pages render the posts, so no route code is added.
- 03
Prove it is live
Before the first scheduled post, Blogger Dog commits a temporary test post, waits for your host to rebuild, and checks that the public URL actually serves it. It then deletes the test post. Scheduled posts are checked the same way after every commit, so a post that was committed but never appeared is reported instead of silently counted as published.
Good to know
- Tags are plain strings; if you enforce a tags.yml allow-list, add the topics you want covered or relax onInlineTags.
Docusaurus questions
- Where do Docusaurus posts go?
- Into the blog folder the blog plugin already serves. The posts then appear in your blog list, tag pages and RSS feed without any config change.
- Will tags fail my build?
- Tags are written as plain strings. If you enforce a tags.yml allow-list with onInlineTags set to throw, add the topics you want covered or relax that setting.
- Do posts have an author?
- No authors field is written, so posts show without an author card. Your existing authors.yml is not touched.
